This is to let you know about the options ASI offers for Condition Reports
and pictures. Many of the independent auctions are already using some form of
our ECRs, but may not be familiar with all that we offer. Some auctions may not
be using CRs at all because they are afraid of the cost. In some situations it
may be only the cost of the hardware that is keeping you from upgrading to our
current CR system. This could be as little as $600 for
a tablet PC with an integrated camera. No need to carry an extra camera around
your neck these days. But if all you need is pictures and no
CR, that option is available too. This can be done with just the camera
in your hand.
Here's an example. A tablet with a built in camera can be used with our
CRInput software. This software allows you to manage CRs, update primary
vehicle information (automaster), license plate info, vehicle options (detailed
available), announcements, damages, and pictures. This a simple,
self-explanatory software with checkboxes, drop downs, and text fields that most
users can easily use on their own. Depending on your need we can provide
on-site installation and support, or a tutorial over the phone.
If you do not have a need to do a full CR, and would
just like to integrate pictures into ASI possibly to send to your website, just
use the "Live Pics" option that all you need is a stock number and the light
tablet. Punch in your stock number, take the pictures, and it's done. No wait,
no fuss.
Furthermore, you can use CRInput on desktop PCs in the office to enter/edit
CRs and attach pictures. This method is good if you do not own or want to
purchase a tablet, or if you use the green-screen style Handhelds for entering
CRs.
In either case, the devices have an integrated camera that with a simple click
of the button the image is attached to the CR and
automatically integrated into the ASI system. From there, the electronic
CR with images can be printed, viewed, emailed, and
uploaded to any number of sellers or services.
